Hidden away on little known netlabel Otium sits one of last year's finest ambient albums, fourth in series and a collaborative effort by Seetyca & Etheocles Stevens. These are three longform tracks drifting somewhere in the borderlands between ambient, drone and dark ambient, a sort of trinity if you will. It takes a little extra something for music of this type to invite to active listening and not just leaving it wallpapering in the background. And, as you have guessed, these deep and cosmic walls of rumbling sound manage to accomplish just that. Heartily recommended to listeners of ambient of any school or flavour.
